Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the True North Prize Hub website located at truenorthprizehub.com and all services offered through it (collectively, the “Service”). By visiting the Site, creating an account or purchasing lottery entries through the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. True North Prize Hub (“True North Prize Hub”, “we”, “us” or “our”) may update or amend these Terms from time to time. When changes are posted on this page, continued use of the Service will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Player Eligibility
Access to lottery games and related services on True North Prize Hub is restricted to players who satisfy all eligibility requirements below:
- Minimum Age: You must be at least 19 years of age at the time of registration and play.
- Residency and Location: You must be a resident of Canada and physically located in an eligible Canadian province or territory at the time your purchase is made.
- Legal Capacity: You must be legally permitted to participate in lottery schemes under the laws that apply to you and must not be subject to any court order or regulatory restriction that prohibits participation.
- Excluded Persons: Employees, officers and directors of True North Prize Hub, as well as members of their immediate households, are not permitted to play.
We may request documentation at any time to verify age, identity and residency. If you are found to be ineligible, your account may be suspended or closed, and any prizes may be cancelled in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Creation
To use the Service, you must create a personal player account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration, including your full legal name, date of birth, contact details and residential address. You may maintain only one active account with True North Prize Hub.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share your password with anyone else or allow others to access your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, you must notify us as soon as possible so that we can take appropriate security measures.
3.3 Verification Checks
We may use electronic tools and third-party services to verify the information you provide. Where automated verification is not successful, we may ask you to submit government-issued identification or additional supporting documents. Failure to complete verification when requested may result in restrictions on your account or account closure.
4. Ticket Purchases and Deposits
All deposits, ticket purchases and payouts processed through the Service are conducted in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
- Funding Methods: You may fund your player account using approved payment options such as credit cards, debit cards or other methods displayed in your account. By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are the authorized holder of the payment instrument.
- Purchase Confirmation: Once a ticket purchase has been accepted by our system and a confirmation is displayed or sent to you, the transaction is considered final. Entries cannot be cancelled or refunded, except where required by law or in the event of a verified system error.
- Deposit and Play Limits: We may apply or allow you to set daily, weekly or monthly limits on deposits and/or spending to support responsible gaming practices.
- Geo-Location Controls: We use geo-location technologies to verify that you are within an eligible Canadian jurisdiction at the time of purchase. If your location cannot be confirmed, your ability to buy tickets may be restricted.
5. Prize Claims and Payouts
All prizes are determined based on official draw outcomes and the applicable game rules. Prize amounts, including jackpot values, may be subject to adjustments as set out in those rules.
5.1 Small Prizes
Winnings below a specified threshold (for example, up to $1,000 CAD) will normally be credited directly to your player account after the draw has been officially validated. Exact thresholds and timelines may vary by game and jurisdiction.
5.2 Major Prizes
Larger prize amounts, including jackpots, are subject to additional identity and security checks. As part of the claim process, you may be required to:
- Confirm the reference details of your winning entry or ticket;
- Provide valid government-issued photo identification and any other documents requested;
- Complete and sign a Prize Claim Form or similar documentation;
- Meet any publicity or anonymity requirements permitted or required by applicable law.
Discrepancies: If there is any difference between information shown on your device and the official records held in the central gaming system, the records of the central gaming system will prevail.
6. User Conduct
You agree to use the Service in a lawful, fair and respectful manner. In particular, you must not:
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or manipulate the operation of any game or system;
- Use scripts, bots, automated tools or artificial intelligence to place entries or gain an unfair advantage;
- Collude with other players or third parties in an effort to circumvent game rules;
- Upload or transmit any harmful, abusive, defamatory or discriminatory content; or
- Harass, threaten or abuse customer support staff or other users.
Where we reasonably believe that prohibited conduct has occurred, we may suspend or close your account, cancel entries and take further action as permitted by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUE NORTH PRIZE HUB MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY, ERROR-FREE OPERATION OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SERVICE.
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, True North Prize Hub will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the Service;
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions, data or account;
- Any delay, failure or disruption in communications networks or systems that prevents a purchase from being placed before the relevant cut-off time;
- Any errors in the display of results where the official central gaming system records are correct.
In the event of a verified malfunction, all affected plays and pays may be voided in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
8. Responsible Gaming
True North Prize Hub supports responsible gaming and encourages all players to use lottery products for entertainment, not as a source of income. To help you stay in control, we may provide tools such as:
- Deposit Limits: Options to set maximum deposit amounts over defined periods.
- Self-Exclusion: The ability to suspend access to your account for a chosen duration.
- Session Reminders: Notifications highlighting how long you have been signed in.
If you are concerned about your play or the play of someone you know, we encourage you to seek assistance from professional support services listed on our Responsible Gaming or Responsible Play pages.
9. Termination
We may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or terminate your account and restrict access to the Service if we believe that you have breached these Terms, failed to meet eligibility requirements, engaged in suspicious activity or where we are required to do so by law or regulation.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Any remaining real-money balance that is not subject to investigation or regulatory hold will be refunded to you using a method determined by us, subject to identity verification and any applicable legal obligations.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any principles of conflict of laws.
Any dispute, claim or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, unless a different forum is required by applicable consumer protection or gaming laws.
